Although a life-long Democrat, Kathy first became actively involved in the Party in response to the 2016 election. Since she retired in 2017 and moved to Florida, Kathy has become an active member and officer of the Highlands County Democratic Party and the State and Local chapter of the Democratic Women's Club of Florida. She firmly believes it is never too late to stand up for your principles, be counted and make your voice heard.
