I relocated from Chicago the home of "Real Democratic politics" over 25 years ago and have been active in the Highlands County DEC since 2007. However I have been coming to Highlands County since 1982 when my grand parents retired here. It has been my privilege to serve my DEC as a state officer for the Florida Democratic Party as well as the Democratic Women's Club of Florida. I had the privilege of being an official delegate to both the Obama 2012 convention as well as the Kamala Harris Convention in my home town. I believe in freedom and democracy and the rights of all people... that is why I am a Democrat.
